This Privacy Policy explains how Sundays Ice Cream, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Missed Call Recovery text messaging program.
Information we collect
We collect the following information:
- Mobile phone numbers. When a person places a phone call to a business that uses Missed Call Recovery and the call is not answered, we collect the phone number that placed the call. This is the only way phone numbers enter our system.
- Message content. If the person replies to our text message, we collect the content of those replies so the business can respond to the request.
- Call and message records. We collect the date and time of calls and messages in order to operate and troubleshoot the service.
We do not purchase, rent, upload, or import phone numbers from any list or third-party source. A phone number enters our system only when that number places a call to a business using this service.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Send a text message reply to a customer whose phone call was not answered
- Understand what the customer needs so the business can follow up
- Pass that information to the business the customer called
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the service
Sharing of information
Consumer information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, opt-in data, or message content with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information is shared only in these limited circumstances:
- With the business the customer called. The customer's phone number and their message are provided to that business so it can return the call. This is the purpose of the service.
- With our messaging provider. We use a telecommunications provider to deliver text messages. They process the information solely to transmit the message.
- Where required by law. If we are legally required to disclose information, we will do so.
How consent is obtained
Consent to receive a text message is established when a person places a phone call to a business that uses this service. Text messages are sent only in reply to that inbound call, and only to the phone number that placed it. There is no sign-up form and no mailing list.
Opting out
You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You may reply HELP at any time to receive support contact information.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Data retention
We retain call and message records only as long as needed to operate the service and to allow the business to respond to the customer. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us using the details below.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
